Yesterday, I posted a recipe for Tacos de Camaron. Those beautiful Jumbo Shrimp were so succulent and tasty, I have to tell you. I was even more grateful to have them on my dinner table because they were provided to me by the Anderson Seafoods company.
Anderson Seafoods has stood for integrity and honest hard work in the seafood industry for over 30 years. I’d actually heard of them before they contacted me and asked me to do a review – one of the pizza restaurants I used to work at as a teenager used them as a supplier for all the seafood that went in our pasta dishes. I know they do good work. I know they provide quality food that I’d be happy to eat any time of day.
I was even more pleased when I checked out their new website to find the following information about sustainability:
“Anderson Seafoods is serious about its eco-impact. We do not do business with suppliers that overfish, deplete fish stocks or destroy their habitat.”
I love a business that can combine good business with good karma. You should check out more about their approach to sustainability. You’ll be impressed.
So after 30+ years of providing seafood to restaurants and commercial kitchens, Anderson Seafood thought it might be time to reach out directly to those of us at home, and have launched an overnight delivery service, bringing delicious fresh fish, shrimp, crab, scallops – you name it – to your door, 24 hours after you order it.
I can attest to that. I placed my order last Monday. On Tuesday, at 11 a.m., my favorite UPS man arrived at the door carrying a box of just packed seafood, just for me.
Anderson Seafoods wants you to experience their delivery too. So they’re giving one lucky BB&B reader the opportunity by providing a $150.00 gift certificate giveaway!
